According to my Data use information on my mobile bill – every single night at 00.00 hrs my phone consume more than 20Mb (on average).

It has been happing for the last 3 years – and as I said every day midnight.

When I joined O2 (Uk) in 2009 Feb – form the very first night – its has been the pattern – at the time – I had iPhone.

Now I got Dell Streak – and its happing with Dell as well –

(1) I don’t use my phone at mid night –every day.
(2) How can I stop this
(3) Is there any particular App – on the Market to identify –which of my apps use Data and how much ?

I'd expect some syncing to be going on when the clock/calendar rolls over to a new day, but 20 MB? No offense meant, but are you sure it's megabytes? Normally I'd suspect a 3d party app doing weird things, but it's strange that an iPhone would do the same thing.

Anyway, TrafficInfo is free (available from the Market) and should do what you want.

Edited to add: The other possibility is that the data usage is happening some other time and that's just when your provider logs it in...anyway, TrafficInfo should help.

I don't have a Streak yet, but when I first got my X10, whenever it went to "sleep" it when from Wifi to 3G instantly and I got similar data charges. I since changed the setting to keep it on Wifi and have gone weeks without any data usage at all.

In your case, I assume some sort of syncing is going on, automatic updates, etc.
