Time is changing automatically on my Dell Streak

Hi

I have a Dell Streak the problem with the phone is that the time is changing automatically everytime. I have done a factory reset the phone worked with the correct time for some time.
Then i have the same problem i have then got the Phone software reinstalled at the Service center and it worked for few hours and then the problem restarted.

I doubt it could be my phone sim i got a new sim and turned the phone on it got the right time setting but after few hours i noticed the time is wrong.

Can anyone help me with this issue.

Not sure what you mean by "time changing automatically" Do you mean it is running slow or fast? Based on your subject, I thought you mean it changed time zones automatically when you traveled, but that seems like it would be a good thing

I believe there is a setting that says "use network time" somewhere.

Hi Mitch,

What i mean is that the phone automatically gets the time from the network provider and sometime later the time changes to 4:00 AM when it is actually 16:00 Hours.

I have got the sim changed and put in the new SIM. Can you advise what needs to be done.

Have you tried going into settings/date and time/select time source and selecting manual?

I had the same problem, ended up selecting update the time via the internet and has been fine since
