i just bought the Dell Streak 5 and I downloaded a bunch of MP3 albums from my PC to my phone but only some of the albums are showing up in my music player but when I hook the phone back up to the PC to check it' music foler it shows all the albums are there. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Are they all in the same file type?

Yes, they're all the same type of format, MP3.

If you have a file explorer, look for them with that.

I just upgraded to 2.2 from 1.6 and all but one of the music files is gone. When I look at the device through Astro all the files are still on my SD card, but the music player can't see them. I downloaded a 3rd party player and it can't see them either.

Any ideas, I never had any issues before.

On an odd note, the only song that shows up is USMC version of Taps, that I have loaded for funerals with the PGR, sort of fitting considering the rest are dead

I have a similar problem and it is driving me crazy..
The only difference is that all the music that doesnt work shows up as an album labeled music..
All my files are also mp3.

I don't have any problems with music on my Streak 5. Have both MP3's and iTunes files and everything works. I'm using Power Amp player.
