I used to have a Sony Xperia X10.
Sony's desktop software packaged with the phone had a nifty feature that when you copied a video through the software, it would also auto convert it to a format recognizeable by the phone.

Does the Dell software do this as well?

Or how do you transfer and watch videos?

Currently I use AVS Video converter to convert the video to the MP4 format @ a screen resolution of 800x480.
Then copy the file to the SD card.

As to the real question, no clue. I've not put or watched any movies on my Streak. Filled up my card with music though....
