I just got my Dell Streak last night, I did the software update and everythign was fine, then i started to add my contacts and it saves them but it doesn't show them in the contact list and I have went to the display option window but nothing changes. How can I find my contacts?

I would not manually add contacts, it is difficult at best. I have always maintained my contact list on the computer, for years in Yahoo and recently I exported my contact to gmail. With an android device, when you do the initial setup and enter your gmail address, it will automatically import all your contacts and keep them in sync OTA.

Yep, I wanted to dissassociate my contacts from being tied to or syncing to the gmail account. Any way of doing that?


I found it in the settings: unchecked auto sync to gmail.com and it worked!
