3G capability on unlocked Dell Streak 5

I have an unlocked Dell Streak 5 that I purchased from China that operates on Tmobiles frequency but I can't get 3G on it. Do I have to do something in the APN settings? Is there something I'm overlooking? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

T-Mobile uses a different frequency for their 3G.
Most streaks are set up for 3G on an AT&T type network.

So from my limited understanding, you will not get 3G from the streak on t-mobile network.
