I need to share my laptop internet with my Dell streak by using Wifi.. Is it possible friends..? If so let me know yaar.. Since im new to android..

Are you trying to tether the phone to the laptop or get online with your phone using the internet the laptop is connected to?

Tap the middle soft key at bottoms there Settings>>Wireless and Networks and u will find all the options to tether ur phone as well as connect it to a hotspot

If you don't have an unlocked version of at least 2.2 though you wont be able to tether and all you will be able to do is connect to a wireless network.

by wifi hotspot my mobile becomes provider of internet friend.. I wanna use my laptop internet connection to share with my DELL.. I did ad-hoc but it was not working.. so pls help..

I tried dude, this making my tablet as a hotspot.. But i wanna use net connection from my laptop..
