I just want to let you all know about a fantastic discovery I've made, while looking for an in car holder.

I've been looking for a holder for a while now, and I had mt mind set on the car kit from Mobile Fun. I was also looking at the bendy arm types in Halfords.

I happen to pop into Carphone Warehouse to see what holders they had, and I spied this beauty. It says intore that it's for the iPhone, but as you can see from the website, its a universal one.

VERY solid construction, and pretty small. However it's rock steady, and the main joint it s very sturdy ball joint, so it can easily go landscape for those who use your Desires as Sat Navs.

Very smooth opening mechanism on the arms as well. Not like the clunky Halfords ones.

It's half the price of the others. Only £9.99, and if I was to use I rating system, I'd easily give it 9/10. It could do with a smooth sticky plate like the Halfords ones, so you can attach it to your Dashboard if needs be, but apart from that, it's fantastic.

Might be interested in that, is there a bit to stop the phone from sliding out the bottom, been thinking about this 1

Yeah. There are two little fold down arms on the bottom. Just used it with my Desires say nav. Worked a treat.

That one you're looking at is the one I was looking at earlier.
