Hi all,

I've recently bought an extended battery (3000mah) for my HTC Desire.

The first day I had it installed, the battery indicated 100% for about 5 hours even though the phone was being used.

Since then, things have changed drastically. In fact its gone from 100% to 37% over the last 2 hours, although I admit I have been using it almost non-stop.

Are there any apps, or any methods I can use to test this battery? First indications were good, now not so good.

I have fully discharged and charged it twice to calibrate the built-in 'fuel-gauge'.

JuicePlotter will plot your battery use over time. That might be useful.

I suggest you hurry up about it and return it once you've decided it's no good. You wouldn't be the first to find these extended batteries not up to what they make out to be.
