Default ROM installing problem :(

Hey guys,

I've just rooted my phone using the latest Unrevoked and Hboot .. it went ok .. Then I downloaded the latest CyanogenMod-6.1.1 for HTC Desire CDMA plus the google add-ons and copied them to my SD card. The I got a recovery from my phone, but it wasn't saying NANdroid or sth, just backup (?) then I wipe and factory reset my phone and tried to flash with the ROM but I got a (Status 7) error .. I tried this 2-3 times but didn't work, then tried to restore my phone but got an error of missmatch MDS5 or sth ..

Now im just using my Rooted desire with no custom rom ..

Can anyone pleaaaaaaaaaaase help me to install this custom rom or a better one if you have a better suggestions ?

p.s. My phone is S-ON and tried to make it S-OFF but the instructions that I found are all for GSM Desire, not CDMA Desire.

So what should I do ?

An md5 checks that the file you have is exactly the same as the one one the server, yours did not match.

Go to my sigi below. download another CM6 and check its checksum before you flash!

You cant back up because you dont have anything to back up!

I presume you can get to recovery (black screen, green writing)?

Have you downloaded another copy yet?

A chechsum is a long number that'll may be on the download page with the distro. Do you have it?
