Go to their website and get them:

http://support.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-support/index?page=home&cat=SOFTWAREDOWNLOADS

Go to 'Manual Settings' on the left

I found something better. Just before manual i clicked on phone settings it asked for my number. Once I typed my number in it had my phone's detail plus the APN settings so i put that down. Thanx Eddy.

No, it's a software issue but as to what I've no idea. I'd go back to 100% stock and try again. If it works, then root and flash a new ROM from scratch (not a nandroid) and don't restore any back ups as they could also be the root of the issue

Im not sure if its software related cos this issue has followed me from stock sense but It has gradually gotten worse on MIUI. Ive tried everything except looking at telephony app_parts database file which I cant find on root explorer. I understand I need to be S-OFFed to get to it. Is there any other way to access that file??

BTW Ive not nandroided at anytime and I dont back up anything other than my contacts through google sync. All apps are re added again from the market cos I only have under 20 apps. Dont know what else I can do? I am starting to run out of options now

I wonder if I could use ADB to access telephony/app_parts database file?? If so what command lines should I use?? I just want to delete the file to see if that corrects the mms force close issue. There are so many unexplained answers on the net its doing my head in!!

You could use it to edit its properties, move it from place to place etc but I doubt you'd be able to open it and manipulate its data. ADB is a cut down linux command line utility. Its the equivelant to a PC command prompt. You can do stuff with the file but you can't open the files without their associated application.

I just want to delete any corrupted files within app_parts database. Have you got any ideas how I can do that?

What you're on about changing is part of a ROM, it's not hardware related

Hmm ok. I noticed something in the dailer storage last night. Bear in mind I dont have any messages or mms saved. Dailer total shows 289kb, application shows 145kb and data shows 144kb. I tried to clear data but they shoot back up to 144kb. ON my friends Desire the application shows 0kb. Perhaps this is causing mms force closes!? What you think?

Didnt work. Intially it seemed to work data was showing 0kb but a different type of force closes (android.acore) started so I powered down and turned it back on hoping it would correct the problem. Which it did but data shot back to 144kb. Hmm

Could you check to see what is showing on your phones dailer storage? What is total/application/data showing?
