not looked at it still as i have no interest in it.
i think it only share similarities with the name.

i also think its pointless

helppppppp I'm new to this rooting stuff I have an HTC inspire (desire) rooted and a cm7 rom and I havevrom manager I hear its bad news how do I can I change to another one? Can I do it right off my phone or I need a PC? I'm not good with this stuff please help and I'm afriad to back up my rom or anything ibdont know what to do help thanks forum

This is about teh HTC Desire (bravo) we cannot comment on ROM manager for other phones.

Hi all,

Just rooted my phone using the revolutionary method,
i was wondering is Rom Manager still to be avoided or has it been updated
and fixed ?

i was just looking to try up some new roms .

You do not need rom manager to try roms. This thread is still stickied. Please read the rooting FAQ in the "all things root" Sticky if you are not sure how to flash roms properly. It is actually pretty simple.

Actually there's a discussion going on in the Guides Central forum about ROM Manager problems on many phones. Seems it can cause similar problems on a number of HTC devices (probably not surprising) and much worse ones on some Samsungs (permanent hard brick of some models).

The advice of the thread title still stands.
