Languages are making a come back - compiling this week.
---------------------------------- v 11072011
Ported CM7 Lockscreens (rotary, ring etc)
Ported CM Phone in order to make above work
Port of CM7 VOIP module
SIP over 3G
Implemented Expandable RAM disk for market downloads
Look under Settings>Lockscreen Extras for new CMy7 Lockscreen stuff.
Before RAM disk, /cache was bound to /data/local so small cache partition could be used. BUT you needed to keep enough free space to store the downloaded app before installation. RAM disk means this is no longer necessary. Now all but 15MB of /data can be used.
New Market Works. No more work around of "chmod 777 /cache" required
***Although extensive framework modifications have taken place, a wipe should not be necessary. However, any issues, please wipe.
Note* 11072011 is English only presently. v1.4 Language packs are NOT compatible. Do NOT try to flash these over v11072011
Also note /system/etc/init.d/95havsvdd script. This sets Manu 1.4 havs voltage to 875 for 128mhz. If you get reboots when idle, edit this value higher in steps of 25
----------------------------------
v1.4
Updated SurfaceFlinger in-line with the google 2.3.5 repository
Smaller Latin IME keyboard (ROM under 60MB)
Reduced font footprint without compromising specific non-alphanumeric characters
Device(s): HTC Desire (depreciated)
Blue Galaxy s3 (international)
Carrier: Not Provided

i would advise support questions being kept on XDA?
only reason i say this is that if there are common issues they are all in one place and directly searchable within the same thread.

Testers are quite thin on the ground at the moment so I thought by posting here, I could get a bit more exposure and bump up the XDA thread. I told myself I wasnt going to do that, but I changed my mind
ROM is running very well for me. Smooth, fast, stable (except the settings FC) and good on battery.

aye itll get overshadowed by the usual suspects just because of fame and the amount of people spamming the threads
I'm running it pal, its really good, I am very impressed indeed, its smooth, fast and the battery is lasting really well, the only issue Is the fc, but I see over on xda your sorting that, well done pal. When ive done some more playing around ill let you know anything I find. Top job pal.

You can flash the ROM, but the fact that it is superslim will not benefit you at all. If you are on the stock hboot partition the only thing that will happen is that you will have a large section of your /system partition (of 250 Mb) empty since the ROM is only 65 Mb.
In order to use the space made available by flashing a small lightweight ROM, is to flash it onto a partition table with a correspondingly small /system partition. What you use to install user apps is the /data partition. For that to be big, you need small /system and /cache partitions.
For more info please read the excellent faq's and guides in the stickies multiple times. I've read them half a dozen times, and still need to go back to them...

Awesome job SUroot. What a fast ROM you have put together ...or should I say stripped apart!
I did a complete wipe as per normal when installing a different ROM but, I gambled a bit and tried something different. After the wipe I installed only the dGB_V1.2.zip, booted up and signed into Google. With no apps installed yet I checked my internal memory: Total space; 148MB, Available space 120MB. I then booted to recovery and flashed the Redux apps_dalvik2ext-UNSIGNED.zip and booted back up. Total space; 148MB, Available space 144MB.
I know the custom MTD's / HBoot give you more room but i wanted to try this for now to see if it worked. So far, so good. :-)

Done! I s-off'ed with Revolutionary, in the process updated to CWM 4.*, flashed your ROM, flashed your image, booted up and now have 368MB total / 340MB free.
Niiiiice! Thanks SUroot!

Hopefully I'll get v1.3 ported to CDMA tomorrow, but I don't want to release without atleast a little testing. I'll start a new thread with the link once I have it done.
If you need a tester, Manda Nick. I'll be happy to help you out if I can. I LOVE MIUI, So I honestly won't run this for long. But you've helped me, I'll help you.

Amazing battery life. 70% after 1 day 5 hrs... wifi on the entire time, except when the phone 'slept', installed 18 apps, made all my changes to settings, surfed and facebooked a little, watched a movie clip, androidified myself ... best ROM out there imho!
...just noticed 1.3 ...grabbing it now...

Are you posting it here or XDA? If only here, I can link to it from my Thread and advertise a CDMA option. As I have a host now, I can Host it too....
I'd prefer to just post it here, as XDA seems a little....overcrowded . Dan, I will take you up on the offer to host though. @DNick, thanks for the offer man, but I have a couple devices I can test it out on here, so I should be good.
Ok well I'll link to your thread from mime on xda if that's all right? Then I can put cdma in the title. I'll mention the hboot won't work and you may wanna link to your mtd thread?
Stick it in a drop box or something and I'll ftp it up and send you the.link got family visit today so can't until tomorrow
So, I've installed today this ROM (v1.3) and it does what it promises. Thank you for releasing it!
I do however keep my ext partition, if I jump to another ROM. Somehow, I prefer a2sd+, especially its implementation in CM7 ROM.

Reuploaded 1.4 with a smaller Keyboard (thanks Hadron) so now is under 60MB (this is the smallest I have EVER got).
New Hboot released with 60MB /system (about 900k free) even after flashing a ManU kernel (1.5MB without). Please check the MD5 if you use it. I HAVE tested it and can report I am currently using it happily.
Format System and Cache before flashing the hboot.
Welcome to the smallest functional ROM on the Desire

What's the best way to change my mtd to use the smaller system? Is it flash this 1.4, nandroid, full wipe, run cmtd setup again, restore nandroid, and patch boot? Or is there an easier way?
