HTC Desire - ROM - **need help**
Hi.
I want a good, awesome-looking, and stable ROM.
Until now, I have used MIUI, which I think is a very good ROM - My Favorite.
I like that i can choose different themes (lockscreen, music, sms, call and all that).
I like the camera very much - I think its much better than everybody's else...
But I think the MIUI ROM im using isnt quite stable - So i want another one...
I like to try the different ROMS.
Anyone who can we me some advice?
Emilronnow

What version of MIUI are you using?
And what do you want in a rom?

Right now Im on MIUI-109090, but i have been on a beta version too, I think...
But the reason I want to go away from the MIUI ROM is, that after some time it began to force close all programs... So I can't use any applications in more than 2 min....
In a ROM I want a nice camera (like in the MIUI) and where I can choose themes, like I can in the MIUI... And I like the Iphone look.... But thats not so importent...
I dont like when the ROM is looking like the original stock one...
But else Im pretty open to try new things :-)
- Thanks for your answer!

dont ever use rom manager,
check the sticky at the top that says no no no
check the faq's on how to partition your card
you cannot install this without an ext partition for a2sd/d2sd etc

lol windows 7 extreme edition, its not a legit copy of windows and half the netframework will be out of date.
anyway the alternative is to make a bootable cd from the gparted website and boot to it

if you look on the list of roms for miui xj, the same place you downloaded the d2ext one. you will notice one that says a2sd in it

Is this all i have to do?
1) Backup your SD card contents to your PC
2) Download
GParted and Burn to CD/USB or use the
Gparted with VMware guide.
3) Connect your device in Recovery mode and mount as USB mass storage
4) Resize the existing FAT32 partition from the back, leaving space after it and create an EXT partition in the space. Steps for the GUI are below.
In the drop down menu (top right) select the SD card (be careful not to select your HDD)
Right click on the FAT32 Partition and select resize
Press the Up arrow on "Free Space Following" until you have the desired sizes
Click Resize
right click in unallocated space and select New> EXT format of your choice
Click Apply
5) now you just need to flash your ROM with a2SD+ support.
Is it this video guide I have to use?
Using Gparted tutorial - YouTube
Please help :-)
