Default HTC Desire 2.2.2 HELP!!!

hey guys, been trying all weekend to try and root my android! im new to this rooting stuff but have read up quite a bit!

i believe i have installed the drivers on my pc, but with unrevoked i get the "software too new" etc..

help guys!

There are a few 3.x versions. 3.32 is the most recent. You must NOT use this. Use 3.21. Look at the download link then modify teh version number to download the previous version.

slight problem! cant install the drivers! all the adb drivers i download say that it may not be compatible as im on 64 bit! any clues?

How were they working previously? Unrevoked already detected your device did it not?

yep..for some reason, its showing up as "unknown device" now..whereas it was showing up as "android 1" before
