Default Supernova rom problem

Hi,

I can't find anything anywhere that may help solve this issue!

I successfully rooted my HTC Desire earlier today and wanted to use the supernova rom to gain some extra space. However after partitioning the sd card and installing the rom which seemed to all work ok i am having problems with the data2sd.

I have rebooted the phone as was stated but the phone just gets stuck, i can only assume it is an issue with the data2sd?

If anyone may have a solution that would be brilliant!

Thanks

I'm not familiar with supernova but I would suggest the first thing to check is whether the ext partition is working. Does Titanium backup or Quick System Info see your partition?

How did you partition your sd card?
Pretty much anything except Gparted will mess it up.

So try what the above poster mentioned to see if your phone can see the partition, even then though, It might not work, I don't remember, it's been a while since I had my Desire.

It could just be a simple case of activating a2sd.
Some require terminal emulator input.
Once again I forget the commands. (I can never remember them)
Usually something like su a2sd....
A quick Google search would provide your answer for the commands.

Thanks for the replies,

I got it working in the end, i had made a partition with gparted but whenever i enter my sd card to the pc windows said it needed formatting. I then mounted the card through the phone using usb and ran the copied the zip file that way and everything worked after that!

Thanks again.
