Default Video Out Cable?

Hello Everyone,

Just picked up my Desire HD, very impressed so far!

One thing I can't seem to find any information on so far is when a video out cable is going to be available for this phone, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

There is video out already - but it's via DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) which means it streams wirelessly to other DLNA equipped devices.

There's a discussion on it here ... HTC Desire's DLNA function - xda-developers ... you have to wade through it until you find some 'how tos' but there are some. If, like me, the DHD is the only DLNA equipped device you have then this might help ... HTC's Media Link provides the wireless DLNA support your phone and TV crave, coming Q4 2010 -- Engadget ... though I also don't have a TV with any HDMI ports ...

It's out soon but seen no specific date/price as yet.

If your tv isn't dnla compatible don't fret either. There is a dnla module that'll make it compatible.

Or of course, you can always use your PS3, XBox etc. (I don't actually have either, anyone got it working with one of these?)
Check out dlna.org for the full list & stuff.
