External Charger

Hi guys, Due to the poor life on the battery of the desire HD i was looking into getting an external charger like this

External Portable Battery Charger Pack HTC Desire HD Z on eBay (end time 16-Apr-11 12:46:22 BST)

but don't want to buy something that may damage the phone. anyone got any input on these devices?

If you've got a bit of money to spend I'd personally recommend a Power Monkey. It has multiple connections for use with several devices, it has a storage battery for charging on the move and the storage battery itself can be charged via mains or solar power. A very flexible charging device.

Well, I must say, considering this portable charger is very cheap, it does a fantastic job.

I play alot of games, which kills my battery in about 3 hours. So when my battery went dead, I plugged the portable charger in (portable charger at 100%), I then continued to play my games, the charger lasted around 45 minutes, then the charge on my phone after that, lasted a few hours.

Remember, I was constantly playing games, so the battery will last much longer for normal use.

I recommend it!
