Hello and welcome to the forums green0815 - thanks for joining!

They could well be, but we can't say for sure... that would be a question to ask the developers

I cannot speak for the developers, their communications on the matter is tip the effect that they expect to be able to fix all the known issues except one, which is the Wi-Fi hot spot issue.

As for time frames, well it its way when it is ready.

The next release is likely to be version 3.2. Basically 3.1.1 with a new base (whatever that means) and a updated kernel.

Version 3.2 still lack tweaks at this point (is in small Alpha test), but the UI is much faster.

Version 3.2.0 is not complete yet, but in the meantime v3.1.1 will be released as a Beta. I think you will be pretty happy with v3.1.1

To add something you forgot to add ral.
They are probably working on two bases, inc s and sensation xl for the 3.2 release.
Sensation xl base will have wi-fi hotspot fixed according to the devs but will bring ics down to 4.0.3.

A full wipe is recommended. At least one person who did a dirty flash reported a few issues on XDA which others were not encountering.

Yeah, I think I might as well do the same thing. That way when I move to a new phone even the software will feel new. For now, I guess I have delved in it enough to know that I can live with it happily enough.

Could you test something? Try a different keyboard from Google Play. I use SwiftKey so I never used the default keyboard except for the initial log in. I read about some users with a similar problem on XDA.

Will switch to the default keyboard and test also.

I was okay with three default keyboard until I tried to activate Viber. Got an error message.

I am not to fond of the rosie sensitivity settings either. To many vertical swipes get interpreted as horizontal swipes.

Hi Ral, Thanks again for your kind help. After rooting I was using Blackout ICS v3.1. The most painfull problem was battery backup. There are some issues like
Sound Quality, some times auto re-start during call. I also tried HD Revolution to check battery status & it's problem with blackout V3.1. Today I installed blackout v3.2, will see the changes & write here.
Thanks,

This file will flash the Rosie.apk from v3.1.1 into a v3.2.0 and fixes the rosie sensitivity issue some users are having.

Blackout-v32-IMERosieBT-Patch.zip
Md5sum: 3898ca64e5d392e2f872ae2287c8b964

This file includes the keyboard, roise and bluetooth fixes.

Blackout-v32-Rosie-Patch.zip
Md5sum: f952dbe05a2c0691e6f3b26b476bb7be

This file includes the rosie fix only.

Quote:
How to install:

1. Full wipe
2. Flash Blackout v3.2.0
3. Flash
Blackout-v32-IMERosieBT-Patch.zip

OR

Blackout-v32-Rosie-Patch.zip
4. Reboot
Now all we need is a patched Beastmode v1.6 kernel, and a bit of Hot Spot magic :victory:

Stable but no working WiFi hotspot. You have to install the keyboard and bluetooth patch to the ROM. Also, if you find the screen too sensitive I have a fix for the Rosie. So it's going to take some testing to get it right.

I'm facing issue of battery backup. As suggested by you I've installed paid version SET CPU and configured Governor to "Smartvass" but it's still giving 8-9 hour battery backup.

Waiting for your valuable suggestion to make it better. I tried Jelly time 4.2 but there are many bugs in this rom. Like :
1. Charging status is not showing correct. Led becomes green at 90%.
2. Not supporting headset.
3. During call voice quality is not good.
4. Music sound quality is not good as Blackout ICS.
5. Working very slow, only thing is booting time is very less.
6. Dial pad good quality is not good.
7. Not supporting conference call.
8. Auto Sync is not supported.
9. ROM FM radio app is missing.

Could you pls pass my feedback to Jelly time team. Every body want an updated and latest rom but without bug. So as of now it can not be daily rom.

Thank Ral

Battery life issues on v3.2 might be cause by the Bluetooth bug. This was fixed in version 3.1 and 3.1.1 but the fixed was left out in 3.2.

If you have not installed the Bluetooth Patch yet, you can get it at this link.
