Question Email client with subfolders

It seems that after all the searching I have still not found a simple answer to a simple questions..

I receive an email and i want to save it in a personal folder, or a client folder, or a receipt folder... is there an app that will allow me to create subfolders in the pop email client..

I have 4 email address, all different for different reasons and need to store received emails in a created folder by me within the email client.

they are standard pop emails....

Thanks.

You'd have to use IMAP to connect, not POP3. POP3 only checks the inbox

K9 will allow you to do this, but it will not update these changes on the server (for example when you visit hotmail.com on a computer).

Again, if you want to do that, IMAP is the way forward

Hello,

I looked at the k9 email client and could not find anywhere in the program where i can create my own subfolders... i want to create them myself, so i can move whatever emails i have or receive in any of the subfolders i have created...

I am using pop to receive my emails the moment from my own domain...

if k9 cannot give me this feature, please let me know if there is or will be one now or in the future.

ajwconsult, did you found an solution for this problem as I have the same issue. Everyone is worried about the exchange sever, but I do not need it there I want it with me on my desktop and synce it with the sub folders to my phone, like in WM 6.5. You have an option there to select the folders you want to sync to your phone and only that sync. This is so simple but it can not be done.

pls advice if you have found a solution.
