Hey guys,

Just bought a used HTCDHD and I noticed this strange issue. LED flash works only while taking pictures. It doesn't work in the flashlight app (I also tried a 3rd party one) and neither while filming. So I can't figure if it's a software or a hardware issue.

OS: Android 2.3, updated just yesterday.

I tried googling and didn't seem to find anyone with a simmilar problem, so if you have any clue what's wrong I'd be really thankful.

Flashlight is working fine for me with Android 2.3

Maybe it's worth going into Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All -> Flashlight and doing a Clear Data and a Force Stop to see whether this solves the problem.

damn, no, no change at all. i'm starting to think it's a hardware issue, but indeed - a really strange one.
