Default Bad design of placement of volume keys HTC Ddesire HD purchase a new volume control button

Where can I purchase a new volume control button because mine broke of when changing batteries. I am a huge fan of HTC but this is certainly a design error. should be on the other side. or visa verse.

I could send the device to HTC i have 3 years warranty but that's a long process a week or so..

To clarify its a HTC desire hd

thank you

You can't as far as I'm aware and any work you tried to do to fix yourself would probably void your warranty.

The placing isn't ideal, but you must've pushed it in really hard as I've taken the cover off loads of times and it's never been an issue? Unless there was something wrong with them in the first place?

Was it one of those ebay extended batteries? A lot of them don't fit properly and cause issues when trying to get the battery covers back on.

They recently fixed the software on my phone for free. Would they be ok if I called them again and got it fixed as its under warranty?

I certainly don't want to fix this myself or i will ruin the device and void warranty.

There won't be a limit on the amount of times the warranty can be used. Especially since the two incidents are completely different.
