Default Wifi Problem

HI I've checked the other threads and not seen this on them and i'm hoping someone out there can help me

I've connected to my wifi with my HTC Desire and put in the security code and now there is a message that states OBTAINING IP ADDRESS FROM BT HOMEHUB and nothing else still can't connect, I've even made the phone wifi only but that didn't change anything, please someone help me, I've been looking forward to this for weeks and it's all being spoilt by this problem

Is there a button on your Homehub that you need to press to make the router discoverable? I had the same problem with my Orange Livebox - all I needed to do was press a button and the light flashed for 15 mins, allowing me to connect. I only needed to do this the first time, after that it connects whenever the phone is within range.

As above, you need to press the pairing button after entering the security code. Once paired, all will be well.
