Hi Guys, I had an O2 branded Desire since the O2 release, but for some reason when It tried to update to the latest firmware it went completely corrupt, I tried to restore it but with no luck. Eventually rather than messing around I rang O2 and had them send me a new phone (business insurance made sure I got it next day, no questions asked ).

But since getting my new phone it wont find the update and is running the old OS.

I'm on:
Firmware 2.1-update1
Software 1.20.207.3

Iv tried searching for the update but it finds nothing, could it be because my SD card is from my previous phone?

Any help really appreciated!

Have o2 released their Froyo update yet?

Just had a quick search on google and it appears they released it and then pulled it a couple of hours later as it was bricking peoples phones.

Sounds like that is what happened to you mate. Not released it yet so won't be able to upgrade unfortunately
