Well can you use a different carrier sim or does the phone say emergency call's only?? A little more information please, like what is going on and what does the screen say and what carrier are you on??? All of this would help in helping you to find out!!!

Code unlocking is a permanent unlock, am not sure how it has got locked again.
Are you able to bring up the screen to enter the code again?

No it is not, I had a HTC Fuze that was unlocked from AT&T and was told the same thing, that I could do the AT&T firmware upgrade and it would not relock the Fuze so I did and GUESS WHAT the Fuze was locked to AT&T again and I had to unlock it again so my daughter could use it on T-mobile!!!

Then it is not relocked if you can make and receive calls on another network, if it was relocked all the phone would do is boot up and say that only emergency 911 calls could be made from it. I really do not know what is wrong with your phone, try a factory reset, and see if that would clear it, other than that I cannot say what would fix it.

It seems that Telus has decided to lock out any carrier that is not Telus through the APN settings, as the APN will not work anymore.

Maybe you need to debrand it.

I would say that you could roll it back to 2.1 and then flash the stock HTC Froyo Ruu on the phone, I think that Teppic has a way to roll back to 2.1, but it is somewhere in this post. Froyo RUU update available

You will need this anyway if you want to get rid of the Telus firmware and put the stock Froyo on it.

Here I found the way to roll back to 2.1 and then flash to stock 2.2

As long as there is an ruu out there with a higher release number, no need to roll back.

This was only useful for rooting

There is no release with a higher number infact the Telus is higher than the stock so he has to roll back to 2.1

Only if you root. It's a custom Rom. Ported over as the hardware is different. Believe the camera still doesn't work

You need to go to this thread and read the very last post.

Froyo RUU update available

Since you flashed the telus froyo on your phone you will not be able to flash the stock RUU it could brick your phone, you may need to do something else with it!!!
