Default Photo gallery corrupted

Got a bad SD on Desire and some photos corrupted unreadable, I copy the content to PC and then format the card, and then copy back everything to the card, but some photos still unreadable and shown as dark, the total photos count doubled due to corrupted FAT I guess, now I got a new SD what should I do, how do I copy things over to it and fix the FAT ??

Wait, you didn't go out any buy a new card did you?

All you have/had to do is reformat the card while in the phone. Doing this will erase all data, but you'll have a useable card.

Settings>sd card>tap unmount the card>then tap format sd card.

If you formatted the card then copied everything back, I have to assume the problem is with the data not the card.

When I get blanks instead of pics, I delete the .thumbnails folder in DCIM, then go to apps and clear the gallery.

Worst case you clear media storage, which will unset all of your ringtones and notifications.
