Question FM Radio replacement (Non streaming)

Like others, I have found the Desire FM Radio rather inadequate both in terms of reception and in providing only intermittent station signatures. I guess ideally there would be a combo standard radio and streaming app, however my priority right now is to get a standard radio replacement.

What is the best out there to replace the Desire Radio FM?

Thanks

TuneIn Radio is a great app... It's not FM radio though it streams stations from all over the world over the internet - i use it all the time

+1 for TuneIn.
But if I understand correctly you also are looking for an app to replace the standard FM radio?

I'm afraid that's not possible, the FM radio is hardware, and just has lousy sensitivity. That's why I use my Walkman instead.

Yes I use Tunein Radio sometimes. It often fails to connect properly. Might have to try reinstalling or it might be the location (New Zealand). Still it depends on wireless.
