Default download always stuck at 0% on market or google play

Since they made the update to the previous market, I wasn't able to download anything, it was always getting stuck at 0% and never moved up. So every time I wanted to download something from the market I had to delete the market update so that it will go to the first version and download the app.

Well now I updated to google play and was hopping for some change, but it's still get stuck at 0%.

anyone knows how to fix this

Two quick suggestions:

* try "clear data" on the market/play app
* check the free space in your cache partition (assuming you have an app that lets you do that installed already). If this is full then you won't be able to download. If you can't see, try downloading a very small app and see whether this work.

i had a similar problem once. if i remember correctly i had some sort of setting turned on which would only let me update over wifi, not 3g etc.

if you are not on wifi then this might be the problem.

I can not get a good response from Play on my wifi - so am on the basic market - faster - neater & easier to get around ! - I feel play is made for 4" screens with a bigger processor power!
