how to change msg alert tone

Hi can someone help I have no problem setting custom ringtones and notifications but how do I do the same for text msg's received I can choose from a list of stock ones on the Device but wanna use my own is this possible !!!!

Connect your phone to your PC. Create a folder if you don't already have one: media/audio/notifications

Copy your mp3 files into that folder. In my case i wanted a recorded message (so i got an AMR to MP3 convertor - free).

Then to set it in the phone go to: Settings > Sound & Display > Notification Sound
