Default Is this app possible?

My employer asked me to write an Android app for a demo device in our store front. He wants the app to do the following (essentially a video demo app):

1. The app will show a video after it has been idle for a while.
2. When a user touches the demo video, it stops and goes to home screen.
3. Prevents a user from uninstalling this app.
4. Hide the app from the applications list on the home screen.
5. At each midnight resets the device to a default configuration (home screens, browser history and contacts information)

Are these 5 things possible?

I don't know specifically how to do any of that, except 2 which would be easy. But given a rooted device, any of this is theoretically possible. I have no I idea how much effort would be required to know if it's practically possible.

i think it is possible
a)root you device, you can put apps as system apps so it cant be removed.
b)download a other launcher, there plently launchers with the option to hide apps
c)write the app with the vid, with a ontouch event that does finish(); while a background process is still working
d)factery reset every night by yourself maybe?
