I have not had both, but why are you wanting to switch off of the iPhone?

Basically just bored. I jailbroke the Iphone 4s and it's better. But still want Swype and some other cool features. (generic Swype in cydia sucks for iphone, completely a fake version that blows).

Still skeptical that any other phone has as good of a camera for low light as Iphone? I know Nokia has something....but it looks ridiculous and would lose too much going that route.

So if I can find something that takes as good of pictures in low light and snaps them quick I will switch. I have a 3 yr old and pictures are very important to me.

Hey that's completely understandable, the S3 camera I have heard is pretty good, certainly better than my Galaxy Nexus camera, again though, since I haven't owned either, you might want to get some speculation from someone who has actually taken pictures with an S3 or go into a phone store and take a few practice pictures with one.

Hope this helps.

I was in the same boat, just needed a change even with Jail break the 4s was missing customization.
With that said....I think the S3 is the best thing going.....I hace had it for 3 months yet and can customize this phone with practically no end. I ALMOST thpought of the iphone5,,,then asked myself (reminded) self why I switched in the first place.

Since you asked the question, I think you know the answer!!
Go and try out the S3, the screen is a little big form----BUT you do get used to it quick...I truly feel that a 4.3 in screen is the sweet spot (for me anyway)..
I have NO regrets in leaving apple.

I just switched from the Iphone 4s to the Galaxy S3 and I will tell you the camera is really good. Not as good as the Iphone 4s but, you won't totally miss your Iphone camera.

I switched because I was bored after four years with the Iphone and so far I am loving my S3. After a week, the size of the phone did not bother me. It feels good in my hand. No regrets at all!

I was the 10th person in one day at the ATT store in my neighborhood, to trade their iphone in for the S3 (This was the day after the Iphone 5 was announced).

I've seen quite a few converts here who were underwhelmed by the new ip5 and really like the s3

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is much better than the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 4S looks like it has a good camera but it's because the resolution is the same (8MP) but the screen is much smaller, so the perceived image is better, however in reality it's just because the iPhone has a tiny screen.
