Default Upgrade path from Sprint Epic 4G?

Hi all -- I'd like your thoughts on upgrading from the Spring Epic 4G to...? I guess my two main choices are the HTC EVO 4G LTE and Galaxy III ?

I wouldn't upgrade at all, except the power button on my phone no longer works, so I have to open the slider to activate it. I think it was damaged in a minor drop; but the phone is old, regardless.

My phone is rooted with the Twilight Zone 1.1.1 which has been a perfect kernel.

I'm assuming similar kernels exist for either the EVO or GIII? Is either easier to root? This is probably the key selling point.

Thx!

Agreed. I had same choice and went SIII. Card and removable battery did it for me.
