Default Update Question

Thinking about getting a Note 2. I have my selection narrowed down to 2 options and the deciding factor will be this:

Which phone will get the quicker OS updates?

Droid DNA or Note 2

It's going to depend on the carrier you go with. None of these devices will receive direct OTA updates from Google. You will have to wait for the carrier to release them, so in other words, they might be the same time if you are choosing to go with Verizon for both of these devices...

I do have Verizon but hasn't Samsung been much better in the past with OS updates than HTC?

Doesn't matter if Samsung releases an update for the Note 2 international versions if your carrier doesn't decide to push it. That's usually the problem if you're getting them off carriers.
