Tongue unlocked smart phones supported by Tmobile

Hi ya'll,

am new to unlocked phones have been researching for 3 days, understand that it must be GSM, but still am unsure about T. moblie supporting it

I found the phone i can afford, a 4.0 inch I8160 Android 2.3 Smart Phone with WVGA Screen Dual SIM 1GHz (Black) GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MH

so i wanna make sure i understand this right...Tmobile should support it? i don't plan on getting data for now, just using it for text and using one app i can upload via computer and usb.

If you already have a phone and are just needing to run an app (but not be using data), then how about supplementing your current "feature phone" with a cheap, small WiFi tablet? You can continue to use your current phone for texting, or if you install Google Voice (or other apps that are out there), you can text from your tablet while in WiFi coverage.

Just trying to think outside the box. May not be what you want.
