Question Available device options in India

Hi,

I am looking for an Android phone with 1GB RAM available in India. Have been surfing the net but am getting contradictory results on websites.

Cheers.....

Are Samsung phones available there? The Galaxy S3 would be a great option.
Micromax is the only brand I believe is common in India. Even its highest end phone only has 512Mb of RAM.

Yes most Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC phones are available here. I believe Motorola Atrix2 and LG Optimus L9 has 1 GB RAM. Are there any other options that I can look for?

It's a bit dated, but a Galaxy S2 also does and I'd recommend it over those two phones.

I assume there are also price markups there for certain devices. Is there a price cap that you have?

Also, moving this thread into the Device Comparison forum.

Yes I have a price cap of 20k INR. Wouldn't like to spend beyond that

So that's roughly ~$365 USD? Not sure what phones go for there, but if you can get a Samsung Galaxy S2, I'd recommend that one.
