Default Phone recommendation...

I need to replace my HTC desire as it has virtually died on me. I am looking to replace it with another android phone... with a max budget of £200 (sim free or PAYG), i have a sim-only contract. What phone(s) would you recommend?
Thanks in advance guys

Since this has now turned into a Comparison thread between those devices i am going to move this thread into the Device Comparison forum.

Otherwise you might want to look into this comparison:

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 I8160 vs. HTC Desire C - GSMArena.com

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 I8160 vs. HTC Desire X - GSMArena.com

Hope this helps

Both are great choices but personally I'd go with the Desire X. It's already on ICS, has a good screen and camera.

I already have a sim only rolling contract for £10.50 a month.. which gives me 600 mins, unlimited texts and 500 mb of data. So I don't want to get into another contract, just want to buy a sim-free or PAYG phone.
