Default Thinking of Buying New Phone...

I am considering upgrading from my old Droid 2 and considering getting a Samsung phone, either the S3 or NoteII. For the most part I love my phone, and don't really need to upgrade, but I've just heard such great stuff that I'm itching to trade up. I've heard these phones have some very cool features, but before I start to seriously consider upgrading in the next few months I am wondering if the phones are actually as great as I've heard. Anybody have any horror stories or any other phone suggestions?

well the best thing is to go in and play with them both before you make your final decision.

the note 2 is a quad core beast of a phone. it is huge as well. its a little too big for my taste however.

the s3 is a great phone as well, but it is a dual core phone. i was at the fringe of getting over the evo 4g lte, but i felt the s3 was a little to plasticky for me. i like the build quality of the evo 4g lte better.

both phones are amazing so play with it and see which one you like.

The SIII is using a dual core A15 chip, which makes it as powerful as the quad core A9 chips on both the Note II and One X.

If you have the patience to wait you definitely should. The GS4 is rumored to be announced at MWC. If you don't have the patience to wait you can't go wrong with the Nexus 4. I personally own the Nexus 4 and it is a beast!

Hopefully this helped.

Thanks for the tips everybody. I've been doing research since I last posted and I think that I'm either going to go with the S III or hold off and see what is announced for the next generation of the phone in the next few months!
