i think aside from specs is to see if you can go to your carrier's store and play with them both and see how it feels.
both seem similar but the glaring spec is the amount of ram and phone's internal storage. you have 380mb for the lg and 290mb for the samsung. also you have 1g of internal space for you apps on the lg vs 180 mb for the samsung.
this basically mean that the samsng will be much slower due to low amount of ram and you will not have many apps on the phone due to the 180 mb of internal storage.
the lg will be much faster and you can have plenty of apps on the phone without running out of room.
so my analysis would be to get the lg phone.
