The HTC One is going to be much better hardware-wise, it's the latest phone from HTC and one of the most recent one, compared to the S3, almost a year old.

I prefer samsung to htc, and if you want the power of the One with the great features of the S3, I'd wait for the GS4 or look at the Note II

The more correct topic will be the HTC One vs the S4.

Except we know very little about the S4 right now.

Wait a few more weeks to learn at the rumored S4 unveiling to make any decision.

I just want a phone with really good hardware.. To me software doesn't matter too much. I'm just going to end up putting a ROM on it. I just wanted to know if I could put a htc sensation-based ROM on the htc One. If so, I will almost surely get it instead of waiting for the galaxy s4 and that google phone.
