Default Are there any decent tablets for $100 or less?

I am looking for an android tablet for $100 or less. Is there such a thing?
I'd prefer a 7 inch tablet, but something smaller would be acceptable.

Bear in mind that I'm currently using a rooted Nook Color, so the bar isn't set very high.

If there isn't one, what is the cheapest one you can recommend?

Can I assume that if there isn't a dedicated forum that there won't be much, if any, support available from this site?

Thanks for any advice.

If you can save up a couple extra bucks, there's the HP Slate 7 for $140ish.
HP Slate 7 8G Tablet | HP® Official Store

Or if you look, you can find a used Nexus 7 for around $150

If you want to wait a little bit until the new Nexus 7 is released, you can get a first gen Nexus 7 for lower probably.

Thanks for your (very quick) recommendations, and for the information about notifications. I didn't know that I wouldn't get more e-mails until I looked at the thread.

I've done that, but I'm having some issues with the NC. (See my post in the NC support forum)

Thanks for the advice.

I'd also look into the Hisense Sero 7's. The PRO is $150 which is obviously 50% more but it looks very impressive.

I wouldn't suggest anything less than the nexus 7. It just so happens to be one of the better tablets as well.

There's a lot of really cheap tablets out there that really hold up to the "you get what you pay for" mantra.
