Default Need a cheap phone for wifi only

Not planning to activate it, but it needs to be able to stream video smoothly through wifi (not planning to activate, so carrier does not matter) and play some kid games. Not near a Metro store, unfortunately.

Any suggestions? TIA!!

The LG Optimus F3. You can get it from Virgin Mobile for less than $140. VM has a lot of cheap phones. you can look into it on their website VirginMobileUSA.com

Jeez, dood, I hope you didn't buy it direct from them.

OP, I just bought the LG Optimus F3 (coded for VM) from Amazon for $70. (It's recently dropped even further, below $64.)

Connect it to WiFi and it will update to V7, which improves a few things.

Then you have just what you want. It is a terrific android device.

Good luck.

Hi O2H, welcome to the site! I moved your thread to the Device Comparisons forum

You might be able to still find Boost Mobile and Verizon versions of the Motorola Moto G (original 2013 model) for under $100 at some stores, or on Amazon.
