Give this a try guys if you want a cool boot animation.
You can see the boot animation here:Looking To Spice Up Your Droid X? - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

WARNING! I do not know for sure that this will work on the Devour, as I do not have one. However, I dont see why it wouldnt. But please!!!! Make a Nandroid backup before attempting this.

Download this file:
Boot Animation

Using Root explorer, place this file in System/Media.

The current boot animation that is in there is named bootanimation.zip. Rename that to bootanimationstock, just incase you need to go back to it. Dont delete it.

Rename the new file bootanimation.zip.

And VOILA! Reboot your phone. This should work.
Please post your results if you try this.

That's not where the boot animation is stored on the Devour, unfortunately. I had Root Explorer run a search on the entire phone, I couldn't find anything that even remotely looked like a boot animation file. I'll keep digging around, someone must have found something…

Oh yeah, and I know this is a thread bump, but it's a thread bump in a dead forum anyway.

EDIT: Found it. See Bricking and Bootscreens!
