Hi, I am very new to this and dont really know what i am doing here. I have gotten SDK and ADB installed and set up but no matter what i do i cannot get my phone to be recognized. i have tried to restart, reset my phone to factory defaults, changed usb cords, updated the drivers but it just wont recognize it. can someone help me please? i really want to root my phone but i cant get past this barrier. any help would be very welcome. Thanks so much.

Try turning debug mode on, under Settings -> Applications -> Development

and what setting are you selecting when you plug the usb into the computer or is no setting box on your phone appearing (Box says like modem and music sync or something)?
