My big question is.... will I be able to use her Titanium Backup from the regular Droid 2 to put everything back on the new phone?

I just came from a D1 to a R2D2D2. I had made a full titanium back up before getting the new one. I did make sure not to restore any system apps, but the first time a did a restore I got stuck in a force close loop. Make sure you make a nandroid backup before restoring any apps. I eventually went through and restored app AND data on only a few of my apps (like angry birds, lol) and the rest i did not restore data on. Everything has worked fine after that.
