Default Coming from LG Ally, a few questions

So, i'm coming from an LG Ally, and so far it's been great, but I have a few questions. (And yes, I know I could prob google some...)
  1. Is the gps, a-gps or real gps?
  2. Does the Droid 2 need a data link (either cellular or WiFi) to get a GPS lock?
  3. I'm currently on the leaked, rooted 2.3 leak, and i'll probably stay with it, but any pros on the 2.2 roms, such as Liberty?
  4. Any lesser known 2.2 roms?
  5. Any 2.3 roms besides ZombieStomped?
  6. About Ubuntu running on the Droid 2, I saw a thread saying that because of the locked bootloader it couldn't be done( Ubuntu on droid 2 ), but if i'm right isn't chrooting just running one os inside of your currently running os?
  7. I can't get the FM radio to work at all, it just stays at the 'Launching FM Radio' dialouge. I read the thread on XDA, and other people seem to have the same problem, anyone found any solutions?
  8. Does anyone have the original music apk from 2.2?
  9. Anything else I should know about the Droid 2?

Thanks guys!

1. It has both.

2. No but having them enabled will make the GPS lock faster

3. Haven't tried the leaked rom yet so cant comment on that.

4. I have tried Fission, GummyJar, and Liberty. Cant really tell much of a difference between them myself.

5. No Idea.

Cant really comment on the rest of your questions.

Your going to love it compared to the Ally, but the keyboard will take some getting used too.

Well, with Zombiestomped the FM Radio works. There are two other 2.3 roms that just came out, Liberty(Beta) and some other one.
And I found a way to get Ubuntu/Linux running.

I would suggest updating to 2.3, and use Zombiestomped 1.7. It's running Motoblur version .591 and it's performance is alot better than anything else i've tried.

The keyboard has indeed taken time getting used to, it was really weird at first.
