Default Putting Cyanogen Mod on droid 2 global

I am hoping someone can help me work out an issue with a Droid 2 Global. I have rooted it and placed Rom Manager on it. I have successfully downloaded Clockwork Mod on it as well. I have Cyanogen Mod ready on my SD card. The problem is not being able to boot into recovery (Clockwork) so that I can flash CM7 on to the device. When I select the option in Rom Manager to boot into recovery, the phone will just boot to regular mode. Can someone tell me another way to get to Clockwork Mod? What folder or directory should it pe placed in?

Thanks very much for any help you can offer,

Brian
