I'm new to rooting and I want to root my factory refurbished D2G with the Gingerbread update. I'm going to use Pete's Motorola One Click root for the D3. I have a couple questions.

1: Will using this root automatically wipe all my data?
2: What are some good roms for the Droid 2 Global on Gingerbread?

it doesnt automatically wipe /data and /cache and dalvik but you personally should because it will cause problems. it also smart to wipe battery stats too
