Thumbs down May have messed up my phone.

So, I have a the Droid 2(not the global).

I have been using Liquid Gingerbread 2.6 since August. I attempted to upgrade to LGB 3.0, and my device bootlooped. It won't go past the Motorola logo.

I got into the stock bootloader, tried to load up CWM, and was unable to using any tricks i'd found online. So, no big deal, I can SBF, right? well, apparently not.

RSDLite won't see my device. I put the phone in the bootloader, waited 15 minutes, it never discovered it.

The only thought I have is, if I used a card reader, can I put an update.zip on the phone, and load it using the bootloader? To be honest I'm used to the Droid 1, where this stuff was easy.

So, what can I do at this point?

Install update drivers for the phone and run rsd lite in compatiibility mode with administrator(unless xp). When the phone is in bootloader (up arrow + power) let drivers install. you cant access cwm from power off unless you have miui ics. Also have the latest rsd lite 5.5? I think. After its flashed and reboots to android login, get into stock recovery (x + power) wipe data factory reset so it doesnt bootloop and you will be good to go. Update the ota and root.

I got it to SBF, now a larger issue. I have tried to flash the following:

Liquid Gingerbread 3.0
Liquid Gingerbread 3.1
Liquid Gingerbread 3.2
Cyanogenmod 7 nightly build(no stable build for D2 yet)
Liberty 3.0
Liberty 3.1

All of them bootloop my phone.

I can SBF to 2.3.2, root, bootstrap, and load up CWM recovery. I just can't get a custom ROM.

Are you wiping Data and cache and dalvik, maybe doing a battery pull. It will work. And actually the rev numbers nightly builds for the gb kernel are actually very stable...
