This is a recent issue on my phone, started in the last 24 hours. My phone is not sending any kind of messages, whether it be sms or mms. I've sent a message to another phone and it does not go through. To make sure it was just my phone, the phone I sent my message to sent another message to another person and they received it fine.

My phone is not receiving or sending messages, each time i try to send a sms message i get an error "Unable to send msg!". I have restarted my phone, cleared all the logs in the messaging widget, and also even cleared data on it. I'm trying to avoid reinstalling it all, but please help.

Take it in to the store but they'll probably do a factory restore. So save yourself the hassle and do it yourself. You can always back up your settings and apps.

Edited: I reinstalled all of my phone, back to factory image.. and still it did not work. Im completely puzzled by this, so if anyone can help please give me a link or some advice. Factory restarting didn't work, I try handcent and it didn't work either, its not my service, and its just my phone. Please help

It could also be your VZW account. Blocks and Locks can be placed on SMS/MMS as well as Data. Take your phone to the store and have them troubleshoot it. Unless someone else here has had the exact same issue, 9 times out of 10 if SBF'ing to stock doesn't fix a problem then you're talking something that an actual VZW person has to fix for you.
