Last week when using the camera or accessing pics in the gallery of my Droid 2, my phone would freeze. I would have to remove the battery and restart the phone. NOW, the camera and camcorder do not work. And I cannot access the pics taken last week.

If I select either option (camera or camcorder), I hear the clicking sound as if it is accessing the camera mode, but then the screen goes black, and it goes back to my home screen.

I installed the Google Docs App and cannot access my camera to use the photo to text option. BUT, I installed a camera app today to see if the camera would at least work through an app, and it will!!!

Wondering if anyone has had this happen, or if I need to visit a service center.

i had the same thing happen to me. i restart my phone when it does it and it works fine.
